Robert is our go-to contractor. He is reliable, dependable, responsive, and his rates are very reasonable. He has done an excellent job on several different contractor projects for both our house and also for rental properties we have in San Francisco (condo and flat), as well as other projects for our condo building. Robert and his team were really awesome to work with! They initially came out to check out the project and were on time to the location even in spite of some other jobs they had going. They came and walked through our site, took notes of the work that needed to be completed, and followed up very quickly with an estimate. Once we accepted their estimate they came promptly to complete the work which included plumbing, electrical, and general building. Prior to the work being done Roberts team went and pulled all of the permits needed from the city, which was a great benefit to us so that we did not need to take care of that ourselves. Once the permits were pulled the work was quickly completed with a high level of excellence. I was surprised by the attention to detail and how clean they kept the workspace, and the clean up they did after the work was done. Once the work was completed Robert promptly followed up with the inspector and had the inspections completed in a very short period time. All of the work that was done passed three different inspections and we were very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Robert and his team to anyone looking for a punctual, clean, and excellent contractor!

I had an urgent demo job that I needed to get permits for, and Robert handled the whole thing for me in a quick manner and a very reasonable price. He already knew the city inspector that I was dealing with, which made things run along very smoothly. His team tore down an entire room (including plumbing and electrical) and hauled everything away in less than a week. I am very happy with his work and definitely call him again!

Excellent work! Robert from RP Construction completed multiple jobs at my home in a timely manner. Having an older home has it’s share of problems and challenges. Robert re-aligned french doors, rebuilt the door frame and resolved water leaks that were coming into my home. He also brought electrical outlets up to code and fixed a problem with a window that wasn’t opening. Robert can diagnose problems quicker than any contractor I’ve hired in the past.

Robert has done a great job on various projects in our condo building and also in my unit. The drywall at the bottom of my bedroom window had become very cracked and puckered and I was concerned there may be water coming in and potentially causing future mold issues, etc. Robert put plastic all over my room and on the floors leading into it so that he wouldn’t get dirt and dust all over the place. Lucky for me after he cut out the drywall section it was just an issue of the building settling over the years, no major damage. He patched it back up with new drywall and it’s good as new. He did a great job, tested the window frame to make sure water was draining to the exterior properly, didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need, and the price he charged was very reasonable. I would definitely hire him again.

We had contacted RP Construction due to soft bathroom floors after a recent toilet install. Robert came to look and give estimate and from first meeting him he is professional and easy to talk to. He had given me a fair estimation and informed me he needed to inspect the inside of my house to look for any signs of further damage. The day he and his brother started they were very thorough in their work making sure they looked into where the problem is as well as where the problem started. Robert had given me options on every step throughout the repair. He also made changes to repairs as he went above and beyond to assure the floor was more solid by customizing and improving the layout and foundation. I truly believe he stands by his work and is very proud to make sure quality on his work is there. On top of that his estimate was exactly what he quoted me even after he went above and beyond to customize a much more stable floor as I was there watching as he gave me options before he moved forward. Overall great guy nice easy going solid WORK, QUALITY! We are so happy with results and the overall experience!!!!!

RP Construction deserves more than 5 stars. Robert, Danny, Bong and David are all professional craftsmen. I’ve had a problem every winter with rain water leaking into a storage area under the house. When Robert came out to meet with me, he diagnosed the problem within minutes – it was dry rot. He explained the way this issue would be resolved and gave me a very reasonable bid. They were hired on the spot and they did an outstanding job. They sealed up the area that water was entering thru with their expert carpentry skills. They also performed other upgrades around the house: replaced light fixtures and ballast’s, installed gutters, replaced kitchen door and trim and did some painting. Robert and his crew were personable, respectful and just plain great workers. They were punctual and cleaned up at the end of each day. I will highly recommend RP Construction to anyone who needs to hire a contractor. They are truly the best in San Mateo County

Robert and his team are great. They did an excellent job on our house – really outstanding. I would recommend Robert and his team without any reservation. Not only were they professional and thorough, they were also extremely flexible and accommodating – happy to go back and re-do anything we asked them to, and open to doing a few extra things that we had not agreed to originally. They also – and this is important for me – finished everything promptly as promised.
